Another no show?
You afraid to play with us?
Is work all you know?

No more highs and lows
Best to keep in space between
Not hot cold but warm

Not for everyone–
The dark and empty places
I like to play in

I once thought you were
Worth fighting for but today
I must walk away

Because the armor
No longer fits and the sword
Too dull to slay beasts

Cold to those outside
Camaraderie not shown
How to melt your heart?

Want to be blessed
With beautiful sunsets and
Not hopping the globe

In the debris path
I stand not knowing what next
Must make it somehow

Found in a brick town
A Dorothy not for me
Twister of my heart

The city mid west
Not the best place to restart
Cowboys no angels

Time to rest for the week ends
But soon it will begin all over again
