Polaris

You are
The center
Of my known universe
The north star
By which I always
Find my way home
No matter
How lost I am

I can look up to you
And know how far I’ve come
And how far I’ve yet to travel
In the journey
That is my life

If only you knew
How much you mean to me
The brightest star
I’ve ever set my eyes upon
