Everytime I
Hear your voice
Something grabs
My heart and
I don’t want to
Feel that way
Anymore
When you laugh
I’m on a rollercoaster
That won’t stop
When you tease me
I calculate the ways
Of how I got here
Too late and missed
The point in your life when
I would’ve been
More than a novelty
And when you stomp around
Because things aren’t
Going your way
I want to give
You a great big hug but
I can’t because that’s
Not a gift you would’ve
Welcomed coming from me
