I saw you walking to lunch today
All smiles with your buddies
And for some reason I felt sad

(The need for)
Human contact

And so I waited–
Staying out longer to play
Than the others
And when I finally decided
It was time to come in
It was too late
Everybody grew up
Without me
And I can’t find anyone
To grow old with
